London Walking Tour Resources & Links

Prepare For Your Walking Tour

Your walking tour will be at an easy pace but you may need to cover some distance, so make sure you have comfortable footwear. The City of London has a wide variety of surfaces, from smooth paving to cobbled streets and grassy areas, and some tours include stairs. If you think you may have accessability issues please contact me for advice. I’ll do my best to keep your tour as smooth or step-free as possible.

There’s a wise old saying that there’s no such thing as bad weather, only innappropriate clothing. It’s advisable to check the weather forecast and make sure you have appropriate clothing for the heat, the cold, or the rain. Walks continue regardless of the weather. Do carry a bottle of water, especially on longer tours and hot days.

Before setting out for London it’s also a good idea to check how you’re going to get there. Check the link below to see the TFL website where you can check the buses, trains and tube in case of delays, diversions or strikes.

Healthwise you are free to wear your own mask and bring hand sanitiser if you wish to.
