London’s Burning – The Great Fire of London Walking Tour

The Great Fire of London story, also known as London’s Burning. Come and see where it happened. We’ll visit Pudding Lane, where the fire started in a bakery, as well as other key sites from the Great Fire in 1666.  Houses, churches, even St Paul’s Cathedral burned down. The City was left a smoking ruin. But that’s not the only devastating fire London has suffered. Along the way we’ll also talk about some of the other fires that have wreaked destruction in the City over the centuries. One is the devastating bombing campaign of World War 2 which we know as the Blitz. Another happened almost 2,000 years ago.

This walking tour will take about 90 to 120 minutes, starting near St Paul’s Cathedral and ending near Monument.
